AU Series

The AU series features very unique construction. Rather than being built with a separate top, sides, and back like most ukuleles, the body of the AU starts as a solid block of wood and is routed out, so that the back and sides are a single piece of wood. A top is then added to complete the body. This construction method gives these instruments a unique sound and brilliant playability. They also utilize distinctive features such as a Stereo Sound Port, Elevated Comfort Armrest, and Edgeless Comfort Heel.

Preamp

The neck side of the preamp is the top of the control panel. The knob on the far left is the volume knob. To the right of the volume knob is a small on/off switch for the built-in tuner. Next to the tuner switch are the bass and treble knobs.
